Gloucestershire Dementia Action Alliance

The overarching aims of Gloucestershire dementia action lines are that everyone in the county who is living with dementia is understood respected and supported.

People living with dementia are supported to continue to enjoy living and contributing to their own community for as long as possible

The wider community is educated and supported to understand dementia and its challenges  Inspiring, information enabling and empowering people to contribute in whatever way they choose to create dementia friendly communities.

Gloucestershire Dementia Action Alliance is committed to treating all people equally and with respect irrespective of age, disability ,gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation,

The function of the  Dementia Action Alliance Gloucestershire is based on mutual respect for all partnerships operating under the banner of  the dementia action alliances within the county and a means by which those groups can meet  together on a regular basis to learn from each other, share best practice.
