GOPA joins the Age Action Alliance

GOPA is pleased to report that it has joined the Age Action Alliance (AAA)

The Age Action Alliance is the network for partnership working and practical action to improve older people’s lives…together.

This is carried out by the formation of working groups made up from the organisations within the alliance.

The groups prioritise action in those areas that older people have told them which are important, and all have older people as members. The current work themes are:

  •  Age Friendly Environments
  • Creative Arts
  • Safe Warm Homes
  • Attitudes to Ageing
  • Digital Inclusion
  • Excluded Groups
  • Healthy Workplaces
  • Loneliness & Isolation
  • Public Health & Active Lifestyles
  • Money Matters
  • Transport
  • Social & Economic Participation of Older People
  • European Issues
  • Research
  • Older People’s Day

GOPA has joined the Alliance to ensure that we can gather reliable information to provide for our members and have the ability to influence  future themes.

Please feel free to see the Age Action Alliance website – www.ageactionalliance.org
